Julia Smith is a former French and History undergraduate at the University of Manchester and, at the time of writing, studying for an MA in History. In between degrees Julia was one of eight interns from Manchester Graduate Interns Programme placed in the Teaching and Learning Support Office, supporting the institutional dialogue group and lead contact for the students as researchers project.

Paul Chapman is the Director of Student Support and Involvement at the University of Manchester Students’ Union responsible for a number of student engagement activities and projects. Formerly of Birmingham City University Students’ Union, Paul enjoyed a shared role with the Centre for Enhancement of Learning and Teaching leading a number of student partnership projects including the Student Academic Partners Scheme.
