Recognising and Rewarding Teaching Excellence: an argument for authentic metrics
Abstract
Recognising and rewarding excellent teaching as the UK TEF plans to do is valuable, but it is imperative that the metrics are authentic. This opinion piece by the Chair of the UK Association of National Teaching Fellows argues for meaningful measures that draw on extant means of acknowledging and celebrating outstanding teachers
