Abstract

This article identifies three published models of professional progression in Initial Teacher Education (ITE), and uses them to ask questions about the stages of pedagogic development that student teachers tend to go through. It is written to enhance student teachers understanding of the processes involved, and to give them the vocabulary they may need to reflect on their on-going professional development
